trainer time

I managed to spend 31:35 on the trainer last night. Why post the seconds? Because, it was hard to even get motivated to get on the thing in the first place. I made it 1:35 past 30 minutes before I gave up due to bordum and slight exhaustion. It did help that I discovered that I have the Verus network in HD now. I watched the 1st period of the Ducks vs the Stars. It helped.

It looks like the weather will break tomorrow. It will be WAAAAAAY too wet for dirt, so I'm thinking about hitting the west papio up to Bike Masters on sunday? Do you guys want to log some saddle time on Sunday? Skinny tires for me.

This crappy weather... it's killing my motivation to ride and log miles. So I totally understand about not being able to ride any more than 30 minutes on the trainer.

Have you guys ever considered riding downhill at the ski areas in Colorado? I have been talking to my cousins "the Colorado Gibson's" to see if they want to hook up for a day trip to Breckenridge, Keystone or Winter Park. If there is enough advanced warning, would you guys be up for anything like that?

Sounds like it would be a 3 day trip! 1 day drive out... 1 day ride, 1 day drive back?

We could ride a lot of miles in those 3 days right here! Although the thought of sitting on a lift while it carries me and my bike up a big ass hill sounds fun!

OK guys, little known fact about me: I spent time growing up in Moab. I normally go back there about twice a year, but I haven't been there in about 4 years. It's one of my favorite places to be. My mom, grandma and grandpa and an uncle live out there still. If you guys were ever up for a trip to Moab to MTB, I think you have a willing participant in me. You won't want to go out there until October, unless you want to ride the mounain trails in the LaSals. The canyon gets pretty hot in the summer time.
Dillon/Breckenridge/Keystone/Winter Park are all places I have wanted to ride. Riding up on the lift and riding back down on the bike sounds like a lot of fun to me.
