Brew time again

Yep, it is Brew time. Last week I brewed up a batch of golden wheat beer and today I brewed up some cream ale. Should be done just before Christmas, and I will share some this time I promise. I know I said that last time, but I am gonna share this time..

Cool breeze

Hooked up with Paul for some riding down at the usual Sunday spot. Did see a few other people getting some ride time in . The North wind was a bit cool, but still had a good time. Maybe I will catch ya at the Monday night ride........

A litte damp

Well we decied to go ahead and see what the trial was like. It has been real dry so what little rain probably wouldnt affect the trail. We were right, the trail was in good shape except for a couple of greasy corrners. Tires packed up a little , but did not do any damage to the trail. I thought is was a great night for a ride. Brian and I went over to Pauls for a cold one after the ride. (Thanks for the brew)

T.N.R

Well we had our own Thursday night ride down at Tranquility last night. Paul and I met up with Mike and Todd and rode a couple laps. We ran across two skunks (that really gets the heart rate going). The ride started to get a little cold towards the end , but had a great time. O ya I let Paul use an older helmet mount light and had a hard time getting it back after the ride. I think he wants to trade some hot wings for it. :)

After work ride

Any body want to go on a ride down at Tranq after work Tomorrow or Friday. I am in the mood for another Night Ride........ and would love if someone could join me..

Hub repack

After the ride the other night we were talking about bike wheels and maintenance . I started to think about it and realized that I haven't repacked the bearings in my road bike since I bought it. So yesterday I completed the task and every thing seemed to turn smooth. I enjoy doing maintenance when ever possible on my bike.

Don't drop one of these, they like to bounce around and hide from you.

Monday Night Ride

Well the rain\snow did hold off last night for the ride. Rode a couple laps with Brian, Dan, Dale, and Paul. I thought it would be a lot colder with the north wind but it ended being pretty nice. After the ride Brian treated us with some Fat Tire, it tasted great. ( Thanks again Brian)..

What a spectacular ride

What a another great night for a ride. Rode with Dave, Todd and Brian. On the ride we kept running into owls. (or maybe the same owl) It almost seemed as if they were hunting us down. Anyway it's great to ride with a group of friends. My next ride is looking to be Sunday afternoon, maybe I'll catch ya around.

Full Moon

Wow what a great night for a ride, The air was cool and we had a great group last night. The trail was in great shape except for a couple of greasy corners. We rode the trail backwards and I found myself wondering were we were at several times in the ride. The trail looks really different in the dark. Had a great time..

Spooks on Spokes

Hooked up with RG and participated in the Spooks on spokes adventure. We only rode for a couple hours and hit a few check points. You really need to know your way around that part of Omaha, and of course need to know how to read the clue map correctly. We did end up getting turned around a few times. I would have liked to made it to all the check points if I had the time. Maybe next year. O ya, the only part I did not care for was changing a tube, while a line of people were waiting there turn. I am heading down to MNR tonight maybe I will catch you all down there........
