Wow what a great night for a ride, The air was cool and we had a great group last night. The trail was in great shape except for a couple of greasy corners. We rode the trail backwards and I found myself wondering were we were at several times in the ride. The trail looks really different in the dark. Had a great time..

Hooked up with RG and participated in the Spooks on spokes adventure. We only rode for a couple hours and hit a few check points. You really need to know your way around that part of Omaha, and of course need to know how to read the clue map correctly. We did end up getting turned around a few times. I would have liked to made it to all the check points if I had the time. Maybe next year.

Went on the Monday Night ride again. Had a great time riding in the dark. I love riding in a group that stops and waits for everybody to catch up. A nice social ride, but you still get the heart rate up, or at least I do. Forgot to bring the camera because I was running late for the ride, but took a few shots on Sundays ride.. out.....

Hooked up with the MNR an rode a lap in a half. It was a great night for night riding. I thought the temps were perfect. Found out that it was Paul's first time riding single track in the dark. I think he had a good time. Even road a little bit with the Dmars, (Nice ridding with you again). On my way home I remembered that I brought my camera so I took a picture going down 132 street.

I love ridding in the fall, but the snow and the cold weather this early kinda scares me. I hope this isn't a sign of an early winter. Looks like we wont be riding much on dirt until this rain stops :( .. So I guess its off to some road ridding.

I ventured out on Sunday on one of Nebraska's busiest roads. F st to 204th. I planned on staying on 204th until I got to the interstate, but the shoulder ended right before Gretna and I wasn't too confident carrying on. I turned back and enjoyed the hills before making it home. Road 1 hour; ~15 hilly miles.

Well I wasn't for sure if anybody was getting together for a ride, so I headed out in the afternoon for a couple of laps. There was a lot of people out riding the trail, ran into a big group at the camel humps. They were practicing there line thru the humps.

Linda just got a new bike, we have been buying parts for a couple months now, and have finally got everything we need. I got out yesterday for a 22 mile ride with my neighbor Rich. Earlier this year he bought a road bike (top of the line bike for its day- it has downtube shifters) from a workmate and only has logged 2 rides and a total of 9 miles.I took him up the West Papio to Maple St. He had never been on that trail and I think was happy to see it and know that its so close to our house. Hey team Gibson where were you guys!! The TTT race was a lot fun, great turn out, and a couple of surprises. First my race, I raced the marathon completed 4 laps (which was my goal) in a time of 3:22. My sis was kicking tail on the single speed. Linda won the female marathon category, she did 4 laps also in a time just under 3 hours, (I am thinking of adding weight to her bike for the next race).

I went for my first Colorado road ride this year. It was a 27 mile round-trip ride from the home base in Georgetown to Berthoud Falls, which is at the base of Berthoud Pass (going from I-70 to Winter Park).
