The weather looks nice for a ride on Sunday. Swanson park is the venue. Are you guys still game? I'm thinking meet @ 1 and ride 2 or 3 laps.
Who's with me!?
Good times, bro's, buddies, beers, bikes and dmars.... a blog about cycling in and around Omaha, NE.

I'm all over that action. I'll talk to Ryan and Justin to see if they can get away for a few laps.
Man, I can't make it, have to work. I plan on riding there sometime next week. I was going to go tonight with dmars, but did not have enough time, so I rode Tranq. Have a fun ride.
I am not sure if i can make it either. so tear it up for me. I rode a couple laps at swanson wed night, and its super fast.
I'm guessing all of the rain is going to kill the Sunday ride. I have no idea what you guys got last night, but Lincoln got pounded. The weather report says rain here all day, and all damn night. Oh, and rain most of the day tomorrow.
OK, any nights during the week that work for everyone? I can make just about any night work with some advance notice. I'll bring the beer!
how bout next wednesday if the weather is ok?
I'm game for anything!
Sounds good to me.
if the weather is nice (no rain) friday and sat, sunday should be ok for you guys to ride swanson.
No way we are going to hit Swanson on Sunday...crappy Nebraska weather. I was whinning to my wife this morning about it. Funny, last year I was all excited about the rain so I wouldn't have to spend money to water the grass. Now, I want it to dry up so I hit the single track. Funny how my priorities changed, or as my wife put it, "it's all about me."
Let's shoot for Wednesday evening. I'm a bit skeptical at this point, as it looks like more rain on Monday. Do you have a time that you want to meet? I'm guessing I will need about 45 minutes to get up there, maybe closer to an hour since I have no idea where it is. I know how to get to the general area, as I have an aunt that lives close to 25th and Fairview Rd. I know that is a little farther south and Swanson is on the other side of 370. I think I read once it was off of Cornhusker and like 34th.
Swanson is on cornhusker just a bit east of 36 th on the north side of the street. You should see a sigh for the bellevue fire dept, turn there, then take your first left into the parking lot. If worse comes to worse, just look for a car with a bike on it and follow it. :.) what time can you be there, 5 pm or so?
5pm shouldn't be a problem; the weather might be though. We will have to get a trail report on Wednesday to see what it looks like, but I'm all in for a ride with dmars and the Gibson boys! I'll see if Ryan or anyone else wants to make the trip up with me.
Looking forward to the next race, I got a little snag in my plan. Jena, my oldest daughter has a confirmation breafast and pictures that morning. I figure if I can get out over there at or before 9am, I can still make it up for the race. The wife is good with that plan so far, but I for sure won't get a preride lap or good parking spot. Also, my plan to bring several racers up with me won't work either. I'm sure they would rather get there earlier.
Lets hope the weather holds out, I am looking forward to riding Swanson with all of you.
