Happy Friday

Today I rode a 37 mile road ride. 18.5 miles down the mountain (made it in 45 minutes) with a 2000 ft. vertical drop (started at 8500, rode down to 6500) and an avg. speed of about 25 mph. The fun part was coming back up the mountain. 18.5 miles of pretty steady climbing, nothing too steep, a few 10% ramps (3 of them I think) but every foot of the distance was into a 15-20 mph head wind. Sorry, no pics. I couldn't think of any that would do the ride justice. Anyway, it took me 2:10 with an average speed of 17 mph. It was hot today, too. It was 90 in the mountains today (but it's a dry heat!). I was cooked when I got back. How was your Friday?
