Went thru Standing bear to Zorinsky via big Pap trail, cruised down to Zorinsky with a nice tail wind. The trip back was'nt so fast, fighting head wind all the way.

Sweet, I'm going to do that ride in reverse!
Greg will you use:
www.mapmyride.com to show me the route. I don't know what to do when the trail runs out up north (blondo ish?)
Post the link here!
Glad to see that two of you guys got out and didn't let the wind push you around. Well, maybe it did push you around a little. :)
Do you guys ever do the "Bacon Rides" at Platte?
Dale, please tell me you were on the road bike yesterday. I would never be able to hit 40 on my mountain bike.
Sorry, that should have been Dave and not Dale in my earlier post. I didn't catch it right away. My father-in-laws name is Dale and it gets typed quite a bit.

Welcome to the blog crew. I rode from my house (near standing bear lake) North on 144 to state, state west to 136? then north to the washington county line. It was on the way back going down those big hills with a very tough wind at my back that I got up to 40 (39 actually.)
Thanks for the welcome! Sounds like you had an awesome ride with the wind.
It will be nice to meet you guys at the first Psycowpath race. Not many guys my age around that want to ride in Lincoln. I have a hard time keeping up the "young ones" I ride with. Funny how 10-15 years difference really slows you down.
