Saturday Gravel

Who, What, When, Where?

Who: Dmars, Stratomatic and myself
What/Where: 16 Mile gravel adventure to the Washington County Line via 132st.
When: 1:30 pm. depart time

It was nice to meet Stratomatic. We took off from Dmars house and heading through Standing Bear lake. We all noticed that we were not the only guys out enjoying the great weather. Tons of people at the lake.

We spun through there out to 144th and then headed north. The familiar white farm dog was replaced with a Big Yellow Lab that had a block head. On the way back Stratomatic kicked it into high gear left the dog in the dust.

Dmars - on a SS could not do that, so he just yelled at the dog. The dog listened and that was that.

Other info tidbits: There is a resting spot on this route, its picture follows; Dmars can climb State Street on a SS - no problem.; Loose gravel is not much fun to ride in.

Fun was had by all!

Some large, barking, teeth showing dogs along the single track during races might get me a decent finish. :o)

Good ride RG and dmars! Let me know when I can try to keep up again.

Looks like you guys had a good time. I just love getting chased by the farm dog.
