went for a ride tonight, rode with Greg for a lap. Then, after Greg left, I met up with this guy on the north side of the creek trail (where the water crosses the trail). I stopped and we just looked at each other for about a minute and a half. I was no more than 2 feet away. I took a picture with my cell phone, but I dont pay for that service so this picture will have to suffice

I saw that same creature at that same spot on Monday Dmars. It startled me good. There is also a new family of little loud birds - sand pipers I think they are called. I saw them by the trees at the start/finish.
Is that a wood chuck!?? or a beaver?
I think it is a ground hog. which is the same thing as a wood chuck, or is that a bike chuck in this case.
