will the weather hold? we've got some racin to do!

I said it last year as I stood in line in the foul weather before last years Norfolk race..., "I think that God hates mountain bikers." I didn't utter that because of some accident, it was because of the weather that always ensued a race. Mostly rain. Wash out, you know.

The weather cats are saying BLIZZARD. Not for us (although I did hear that we could have an inch or so of snow overnight), but Norfork, NE is under some sort of advisory. They have the possibillity of getting copious amounts of snow. I'm not racing, but I hope you guys can!

Tranquility Trail day

Well the trail day was a great success. I think around twenty people showed up to do some work. We split up into two groups to tackle the projects. I was in the hole digging group. We buried a tube under the trail to help with erosion. The work goes fast when you have a bunch of people to help. The trail in now open so you can do your hot lunch laps..

Swanson was sweet

I got the bike out, and rode a couple laps at swanson today. The trail was perfect, and I sure missed riding on dirt.
I heard that manawa was in good shape so I am going to sneak out tomorrow afternoon and ride there. Can anyone join me? I am going to leave @1:30. let me know if you guys can go.
